Uganda 2013: the emotion is kicking in as we get near to the last day!

Rachel and Cobi

Hello family and friends!
Our day at Clubhouse was one of the best yet. All of the kids had so much fun today and we got to learn a lot about their background and their ambitions. We did loads of different activities within our teams such as bubbles and shaving foam, bracelet making, balloon games, rocket shooting and volleyball. The children are all really creative and intelligent and love colours and making things. They all especially love bubbles and shaving foam because it gives them a chance to get messy and to rub it in our faces and hair. We have so many pictures to show everyone when we get home of the children which really highlight their happy personalities. One of their favourite things to do is take photos or have their photo taken – they get so excited about it!

We are having so much fun here and can’t wait to tell you all about it in more detail when we get home. Love to everyone! J xxxx

Daisy and Ali

Hi everyone J
Tomorrow is our last day at Tudabujja and we are all going to miss working there with the amazing children.
Today our lessons were based on oceans. We did activities such as playing with bubbles, bracelet making, different worksheets, played with inflatable globes, made individual fish collages and played games to do with fish.
In the children’s outdoor time, we played with the parachute and the bubbles, which they really enjoyed doing, but it got too hot to stay in the sun so we finished with puzzles and board games back in the classroom.

Can’t wait to show our families the pictures of our trip, and tell our stories. P.S. today we had a cooked breakfast!!!!!!

Hey mummy, miss you sooooo much! Give bobble a massive kiss from me and tell nanny and grandad I say hi and miss them too! Love you lots and lots. Oh yeah and say hi to ian ;) xxxxxxxx

Hi Mum, Dad and Jack, hope you are all okay. Miss you lots and lots, will be home soon J Give Max, Ruby and Pumpkin a hug from me J Love you lots <3 xxxxxxxx

Hi Daisy! Great to see the pictures of you and read your blog. You should all be very proud of the fantastic work you have achieved and the clear difference and happiness you have given to the kids in the ten days you have spent with them. I'm sure the kids will also hopefully see this time as their life changing moment and set them on the right path. Knowing you have made a real positive impact in someone's life by showing them love, friendship and respect, has got to be an awesome feeling for you all. so proud of you Babs and looking forward to seeing you. Love ya loads xxx

Hey crystal.
Have been following your progress religiously and really enjoying the updates, photos and all other stuff through the cred blog. Have been texting daily but only just come to realise you probably didn't have any credit. Hope you didn't think we were not with you the whole time. Sorry if ur phone goes crazy on ur return!
Has been as much an adventure for all of us here and were all soo proud of the efforts everyone has made.
I'll be honest, I was dubious about the whole cred effort but let me be the first to admit I am amazed by what I have experienced. God knows you all must have been touched in a way I can't even imagine.

To all involved, Thankyou.

Scott (Crystals dad)
