Shocking. This is the single word we would use to describe
India, Finally here after a flight from Hyderabad to Rajahmundry in a very small plane (us and just a few others on the plane!) and then a long long …
long journey to our hotel which involved lots of detours due to roads flooded or broken up
by the recent weather, and a few incidents of the driver not sure which the
best road was on the way to the hotel!
One thing we have all commented on in
India is the standard of the driving, the Indians are all over the place and
the white lines are worth as much as dirt! Also there may as well be a pedal
for the horn over here as they are constantly using it (we can hear it now…
beautiful sound) to communicate with each other.
However on the other hand the food is exquisite!:), We all
feel really welcomed to be here as we are waved at all the time and asked for
photos due to the colour of our skin (which is ironic because all through
history white people have degraded black people but they welcome us with open
arms)
Now we are all extremely tired after two days of travelling and looking
forward to a good nights kip, and tomorrow we will get to go to the school at last and see where we will be teaching for the week!

Yeah... You're finally there! Thinking of you all. Sounds like quite an adventure already!
"When you think things are bad,
When you feel sour and blue,
When you start to get mad...
You should do what I do!
Just tell yourself, Duckie, you're really quite lucky!
Some people are much more....
Oh, ever so much more...
Oh, muchly much much more,
Unlucky than you "
